President Barrow Declares Saturday a Public Holiday
The President of the Republic of The Gambia, His Excellency Adama Barrow, declares Saturday, 12th May 2018, a Public Holiday throughout the country, in order to enable eligible voters to cast their ballots in the forthcoming Mayoral and Chairperson Elections.
While the President wishes everyone a fruitful election day, he urges all and sundry to exercise their civic duty in peace.
