President Barrow extends condolence to families of Mrs. Ndow, Disaster Victims in CRR, URR
His Excellency, President Adama Barrow, has expressed condolence to the family of the late Mrs. Harriet Margaret Ndow, proprietress of Ndow’s Comprehensive schools who passed away this week. Mrs. Ndow’s death has left the nation heartbroken.
She was a distinguished educationist who greatly contributed to the advancement of education in The Gambia. Her passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring the younger generation resulted in the creation of many great minds who are currently serving the nation across different sectors of development.
While the country comes to term with her regrettable passing, one thing that is certain is that she left her marks as a legend on education in this country. This is something that shall be forever cherished.
President Adama Barrow, on behalf of the government of The Gambia, extends condolences to her family and the entire Gambian populace.

President Barrow extends solidarity with disaster victims in CRR and URR
His Excellency, President Adama Barrow has learned with shock the effects of the heavy windstorm that occurred last night. The President extends his condolences to the families of the three people who died as a as a result of heavy windstorms. He also expressed solidarity with those injured and other victims and communities in both regions that suffered damages.
He has been informed that volunteers of the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) are currently conducting a detailed assessment of the affected households in the regions.
The President has called for the support of the general public, NGOs and philanthropists to complement that of government whilst a robust preparation for such incidences continues.
The windstorm came at a time when farmers are anxiously waiting for the farming season to start.
