
President Barrow in Nigeria for a 2-day Working Visit
President Adama Barrow yesterday afternoon arrived in Nigeria for a two-day working visit. He was received upon arrival at the airport by the Nigerian Federal Capital Territory Minister, Muhammed Bello who also accompanied him to the State House, the Aso Rock.
At the State House, the President held closed door meetings with his Nigerian colleague President Muhammad Buhari. The two leaders discussed bilateral issues between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of The Gambia.
The President held a series of meetings in the evening and also delivered a public lecture for the graduating class of course 26 at the Nigerian Defense College in Abuja, this morning.
Coordinating Officer, National Defense College, Brg. Gen. Onumajuru described the lecture as a great resource for students interested in the subject of post-conflict peace-building and democracy in the sub-region.
