Public Holiday Announcement
State House, Banjul, 20th August, 2018 – Acting under Section 76 (1) of the Constitution (1997) of The Gambia, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Adama Barrow is pleased to declare Tuesday, 21st August, and Wednesday 22nd August, 2018, Public Holidays throughout The Gambia, in honour of the Muslim feast of Eid-ul-Adha.
On behalf of the First Family and the government, the President would like to wish the entire Muslim Ummah a joyous and blessed Eid celebrations!
